INFORMATION ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

Information on the processing of personal data pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (“Regulation”).

 

VAIMOO S.r.l., with registered office in Via San Sabino n. 21, 70042 Mola di Bari, VAT 01120060775, in the person of its pro tempore legal representative (hereinafter, for the sake of brevity, “Vaimoo”), provides information relating to the processing of personal data ofthe user who browses  the Vaimoo website at the address https://www.vaimoo.com, as well as any other address that is under the domain “Vaimoo” (the “Site”) and may fill in the the form in the “Contact Us” or “Newsletter” section (collectively referred to as the “Forms”).

 

  1. Types of data collected

Browsing data

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate the Site acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the terminals of users who connect to the Site, the MAC (Media Access Control) addresses, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response,  the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the operating system and the user’s computer environment. These data are used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the Site and to check its correct functioning and are deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in the event of hypothetical computer crimes against the Site.

 

Data provided voluntarily by natural and legal persons

Following the voluntary submission of data by the user (by sending e-mail messages to the addresses on the Site, entering the Forms and/or registering on the Site) Vaimoo may process such personal data to respond to the requests made by the user and/or to provide the requested services.

Vaimoo therefore treats in this context, when provided by the user:

  • identification data;
  • contact details;
  • commercial information and data relating to your tastes and preferences;

 

 

  1. Purpose and legal basis of the processing

The data provided by natural and legal persons and collected by Vaimoo will be processed for the following purposes:

  1. check the correct functioning of the services offered through the Site (anonymous data processing);
  2. obtain statistical information on the use of the services and the Site: for example, most visited pages, number of visitors per time slot or day, geographical areas of origin, etc. (anonymous data processing);
  3. in the event that express consent has been given or in the event of previous purchases of services on the Site, for promotional and advertising purposes. In these cases, the consent given to the processing of data allows Vaimoo to carry out promotional offers and marketing communications, including personalized ones, both through automated tools, such as e-mail, and through traditional tools, such as ordinary mail, relating to Vaimoo products or services. Obviously, it is understood that the subscription to the Site, to the various integrated services and/or to the newsletter may be canceled at any time at no cost to the user by following the instructions included on the Site and/or at the bottom of each communication received by the user;
  4. d. in the event that express consent has been given, to communicate to third parties and/or disseminate the customer’s identification and contact data through commercial information, market and socio-economic research, publication on the Website and on other Vaimoo media channels;

Failure to provide data in the “Newsletter”  section and/or failure to express consent, where required, to their processing for the respective purposes mentioned above may not allow the correct performance of the services requested by the user.

The legal basis for the processing of the data provided for the purposes mentioned above is the need to execute the contract for the provision of services as requested by the user and/or the express consent provided by the user.

 

  1. Processing methods

The data collected will be processed, stored and processed with electronic tools and will be stored on computer supports, organized in databases. Specific security measures are observed to prevent the loss of data, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorized access.

The data will not be made visible to other users of the Site and will not be disseminated; however, they may be communicated to companies, associations or professional firms that deal with the management of the Site, or that deal with the execution of customer requests. In addition to the purposes referred to in point 2, the data may be processed for obligations and/or rights provided for by laws, regulations or EU legislation, and by provisions of the Supervisory Authorities.

 

The personal data provided may be freely transferred outside the national territory to countries located in the European Union. Any transfer of the personal data of the data subject to countries located outside the European Union will take place, in any case, in compliance with the appropriate and appropriate guarantees for the purposes of the transfer itself pursuant to the applicable legislation and in particular Articles 45 and 46 of the Regulation.

  1. Data retention period

The personal data collected and processed as a result of browsing the Site will be processed for the entire period necessary to provide the services requested by the customer.

The processing will be carried out until the interested party exercises the revocation by written communication to the [email protected] address or through the procedure of unregistration on the Site.

The data collected and processed will in any case be stored for a period of time not exceeding ten years, unless extended for specific purposes related to contractual or legal obligations and to document the activities carried out, as well as to guarantee Vaimoo’s legitimate interest in protecting itself from liability potentially deriving from the processing and until any action against it is time-barred.

 

  1. Subjects to whom the data may be communicated

The data collected will not be disseminated and may be communicated, in addition to subjects and bodies that have the right and interest to access personal data by law or secondary and/or community regulations, to internal staff or external collaborators of the Data Controller, as well as to companies, associations or professional firms that provide services and activities on behalf of the Data Controller as data processors for the fulfilment of data protection obligations. law, as well as for any organizational and administrative need necessary to provide the services requested. The names of the subjects who may become aware of the data as data processors are shown in an updated list available from Vaimoo (to be requested at the email address indicated in point 6).

 

  1. Rights of the data subject

In relation to the above-mentioned data processing, the subject to whom the data refer has the right to exercise at any time the rights provided for by the Regulation (Articles 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21), i.e. the rights to: a) access personal data; b) request its rectification, updating, integration, cancellation, limitation or portability; c) object to the processing; d) revoke consent to the processing of data and e) lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority, following the procedures and indications published on the www.garanteprivacy.it website.

The Data Controller will respond to the data subject within 30 days of receipt of the request, subject to the right to extend it for a further three months in cases of particular difficulty, subject to reasoned communication to the data subject
