Elettrify, the micromobility operator active in 15 cities across Italy, has chosen VAIMOO, the connected e-bike sharing system of the Angel Group already active in Denmark, Netherlands, Sweden, UK, and Poland, as a strategic partner for its debut in the bikesharing market.
The agreement between the two companies provides a first supply of 380 connected e-bikes, entirely designed and manufactured by VAIMOO in Italy, and which will implement Elettrify’s service starting from the major touristic venues of the Amalfi Coast, along with the Distretto Turistico Costa d’Amalfi. Further supplies will follow, in order to implement the capillarity of the service offered.
This a partnership in the name of “Made in Italy” that also involves 2hire, technical partner for smart mobility solutions, which has integrated its multimodal sharing management service with VAIMOO e-bikes supplied to Elettrify. An innovative project which perfectly suits the needs of both a urban mobility capillary and integrated with public services, and the ones of sustainable tourism.

ABOUT ELETTRIFY
Founded in 2019, Elettrify was born with the aim of providing mobility services both to citizens and tourists. Before the pandemic it was a private service, then expanded to the public during summer 2020. At first, the service provided a few dozen of vehicles, but in just 18 months Elettrify expanded in important locations such as the Amalfi Coast with 600 vehicles in the cities of Tramonti, Positano, Praiano, Furore, Scala, Agerola, Ravello, Amalfi, Minori, Maiori, Cetara, Vietri sul Mare and in the islands of Ponza and Ventotene. Further locations are under implementation in Sardinia and Puglia, along with other cities in Northern Italy. Elettrify also works in the hospitality industry, with partnerships in the cities of Florence, Viareggio and again the Amalfi Coast, providing a customized service for high-end hotels. In 2022 Elettrify expects to cover 1 million rides and 200.000 users, with a reduction of 400 tons in Co2 emissions and enhancing people’s lives in the cities covered by service.
